Yeah - I miss posts from time to time, so a reminder of posts you think really worked really works.

And even you can't write jadediamondgold EVERY day, so a little sifting helps us.

Don't dismiss including your shorter 'here's a thought' posts - sometimes those are the ones that make me think harder.

Have been thinking about doing this myself on my blog. Had a few great ones/fun ones a couple months back and was thinking about re-introducing them.

BTW, on your successful blog item list, I think you can add that any headline containing the word “turd” is going to be a winner. I am going to work that one in at least once a week.

Publishing a digest of posts periodically is a brilliant idea that provides great value. I personally saw some posts that I had missed when they were first posted, and am also happy to reread some that I have already read.
My favorite in this batch is Make Presence Management Work for You…but they are all great, and deciding on a favorite was not easy!

I do it once in a while at milestones: one-year annversaries or a certain number of posts (100, 250, 500, for instance). I get lots of great feedback from my readers and for a few weeks they do bring traffic to posts that deserve a few more eyeballs, so yes, I'd say they can be useful. And somehow, though I think I never miss a post, there are two in here I haven't read, so now I'm off!
