You got Carol’s book and the doll! So cool. I told her I want a doll but then I thought about it and looking at myself might creep me out a bit (having a son, you know that dolls are not what we do here- now, if I was made into a lego man, golden!). I await her book as she is fabulous! If the timing is right and I can be at the roast, I hope she is there so we can girl power you and Jason =-). I met her at BWE and her smarts + my energy/spunk could put the choc cake shake from Portillos and the famed Chi-town the deep dish pizza to shame.

I get chocolates sometimes. I also get bills and mail from the cable company for services but they are in spanish. Could not add services if I wanted to unless I send it to Raul to translate.

Cool haul. The only thing I could send you is a DWB tshirt in safety green (so the dangnab kids in their fast Cameros can see us walking) and a thank-you-for-your-blog card with some dirty paw prints on it. Hard to compete with toys and books :-)

I am so jealous of your mail bag!

This has nothing to do with anything either, but I have started randomly sending nice little boxes of healthy treats to people who I think could use a little care package. It makes me feel amazing, it makes them feel amazing and it lets me show that there can be pleasure with food and life.

Real mail can make a difference in everyone’s lives. (Feel a blog post coming myself) Have fun playing with the car Chris!

The question I’m always surprised people don’t ask is; what’s up with the books? Obviously, people hope you’ll review them, but how did they get in your mail bag? Publishers’ reviewer list? If so, how’d you get on the list?

Question about your book reading process, Chris. So there are a few books you received, some of which seem to be 250-300 pages. Do you read every page, or do you skim through and capture the essence? And, once you go through a book, do you pass it on to other people? Thanks.
