YES, please, please, please, can this section be mandatory reading on Seesmic?

I am fed up of 4-minute videos to make a point that could have been expressed in 15 seconds if the “communicator” had bothered to think about what they were going to say BEFORE they hit record.

Good stuff. At the same time, there are times when I like to think out loud, on utterz, my blog, or wherever, and I am not ready to “Put the most important thing first” because I don’t know what that thing is. I think rambling can productive and useful. Other folks may not care to listen…But it ain’t always about that.

“…giving us a way to reach out and connect.” I was having a discussion on my show Friday night about that very thing–for me, it’s about the connections I make. That’s why I blog, broadcast, and podcast. I love the feeling of connection I get with my readers and listeners…not for the ego, but for…the finding of kindred minds.
I’m not that smart about getting the word out there–I feel like the shy girl at the party and I don’t want to stand up and say HEY! LOOK AT ME!.
Perhaps it’s a fear of rejection. :)

I, for one, appreciate the links that you put forth on Twitter, because I find new sites, new people, and new information.
