I love the message in this video! Especially – what will matter 100 years from now. Thinking about it that way, the best we can do is to have fun and completely love what we are doing. I'm in for fun!

Even though saying “I love it” would probably sound redundant given all the comments this video has received but i can't help it – this is the first thing that came to mind – and i can really relate to the video since I just decided that wasted enough time and it was time to take action by taking matters into my own hand and confronting the overrated fear of being an independent professional.
by the way chris, you helped me get to that decision, thank you!

As always, this shared video fell onto my screen just when it was needed. You're a Master at finding just the right message at just the right time! Passing this along to everyone I know and asking them to pass it on as well. Wouldn't it be great if people kept passing it on and everyone started their day reminded of the 8 principals of fun. Now we'd have the kind of world we'd all like to live in. Thanks Chris.

This is an awesome message and, as usual, right in time for what I needed to see this morning. You tend to do that. I've often said if it's not fun, I don't want to do it, and in the last few months have forgotten that a bit. I needed the reminder. Thank you.

We get bogged down with so many things that really don't matter and hold us back from the things that do. What if we escape the bonds of bad habbits, negative thinking, the past and embraced and acted on things that matter and inspire us? Your life would change. The world would change. Drastically and immediately.

Thanks for sharing this inspiring video Chris.

Are we having fun yet? Great video and very timely advice. For someone who is currently trying to break out of working off a “To Do” list 24/7 and just maybe have more fun, this is inspiring. Just shared this with my networks. Thanks!

My father passed away 3 weeks ago from a long bout with cancer – and “fun” was not a word in my vocabulary. Thanks for sharing something that gave me “hope” I could find my way back to connecting with fun, it meant a lot this morning.

Thanks for sharing this with us, Chris. The message is great throughout and it really spoke to me about a lot of what's going on in my life.

This goes along with what I've been blogging lately. Fear is such a paralyzer. I especially like the part of 'live around the edges'………very graphically put!

Quite simply just loved it. I feel this could be used for a simple mediations video at night or in the mornings to stop us getting caught up in the …….. So many wisdoms creatively show. Thanks again Chris.

This is great advice, and I've subscribed to much of it all my life. I've been lucky. That said, it will be a hard sell to those who fear losing their jobs and who are responsible to their families. Creative design — takes me back to my children's kit of stick-on shapes (c. 1963).

Right on point–as usual Chris. My personal theme for this year is, “Oh the Places You'll Go” inspired by one of my favorite Dr. Seuss books of the same title. To me, “Oh the Places You'll Go” means it's amazing how many places or how far your career or brand will go when you try new things (like social media), think out of the box and do stuff no one else is doing. It is about having fun. It is about finding your true calling. It is about getting out there, taking calculated risks, moving your mouth, moving your feet, failing, getting back up again–and not quitting.

    Thanks for sharing Chris!

    I LOVED this!!!

Thanks Chris, is was exactly what I needed to read this morning. Especially the parts about being fearless and being yourself. Loved the Judy Garland quote – reminded me of a similar favourite by ee cummings:

“To be nobody-but-yourself–in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else–means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.”

    Happy Sunday!

Focusing on focus is pretty tough. There are so many distractions, or directions I could go at any one time, that I find I need to be really cognizant of the goal I am trying to achieve at all times. Then question the activity I'm doing on its merits of helping me achieve that goal.

Focus is finding its way back into my life in 2010. :)
