AttentionUPGRADE – The Mobile Web

November 21, 2007 · Comments

Here’s what has my attention today: the mobile web. When will my BlackBerry Curve work nicely for all the things I use my laptop for today? Why can’t I get flash video on my curve? (Yes, I’ve heard of the iPhone).

That’s what’s on my mind. Ease of use for mobility and more media support.

You can see more of my silly videos at AttentionUPGRADE.

ChrisBrogan.com runs on the Thesis Theme for WordPress

Thesis WordPress theme

Thesis is the search engine optimized WordPress theme of choice for serious online publishers. If you’re a blogger who doesn’t understand a lot of PHP, Thesis will give a ton of functionality without having to alter any code. For the advanced, Thesis has incredible customization possibilities via Thesis hooks.

With so many design options, you can use the template over and over and never have it look like the same site. The theme is robust and flexible enough not only to accommodate a site like ChrisBrogan.com, but also to enable the site to run far more efficiently than it ever has before.

  • Hi Chris,
long time no hear - well what do you expect when it comes to the mobile web? most content providers dont even analyse their traffic properly.

I know I have a barrow to push working for Amethon but seriously most content providers/mobile web hosting providers use ineffectual log file analysis to measure how they are going with mobile web traffic.

Check out www.amethon.com or more specifically http://www.amethon.com/Content_Common/pg-Port-A... if you want to see why "wireline capture" is the only way to truly monitor mobile web traffic.

    Cheers,
    Dean
