One technique I use when I get writers block is just to start writing something, anything – even gibberish! It starts the bits of my brain working so eventually something useful comes out.
I also blog on to my website. I found writing a separate blog and keeping the website fresh was too time consuming so I ditched the separate blog. As a chiropractor I need to spend most time with patients and the separate blog was not feasible.

I think linking out to other websites that offer information that is relevant to what your readers want to read is a great point. You shouldn’t just promote your own work – it’s more informed to promote other contractors and bloggers.
