Interesting things to ponder and very good advice. However I have a range of interests and it is always interesting to see how people may hop about: The reader interested in Diamonds may skip to the post on the Brentford Griffin, and the reader of a post on self employment may move to reading my ideas on Jung and Gödel. Clearly at some point I may have ot focus my energies but then that gets too much like regular employment.

One thing I have learned is not to put all my eggs in one basket. How to cover things from Foundations of mathematics through translation to unexplained mysteries is a nice little challenge though

I seldom have a problem deciding what to write about, it is more often a matter of choosing what I like best among the set of things best fit my marketing plan.

One problem I have is people do not leave comments, and comments stimulate ideas.

I'm with you on that one Danny. It's a Jerry Maguire movie moment – “You had me at Lego!”

One thing that this post helped me realise it that in place of leaving lenghty comments here, I could post them as an intro on my own blog to introduce my visitors to the conversation taking plac here.
