The line between "yes, it is really hard" and "you can do it if I can!" tone is not an easy one to balance.

I like to think of myself as a pragmatic optimist. And when things go wrong, and I splat on my face (often) and get overwhelmed (at least once a week) and don't think I could ever finish everything on my plate (every day, the only plate I clean off is piled with Oreos), I lean on others to get me through.

Either that or laugh uproariously at the absurdity of what I am trying. Then I get back at it and do it some more.

We really do need each other, and the social web is a great conduit to find each other. So thanks for showing your support, and I hope my book eases the minds of the entrepreneurial among your readers.

I totally agree, Chris. I've read Pam's book and it's a really good resource that's grounded in sensible, intelligent and practical advice – not just a “you can do it!” motivational book. It's robust stuff!
