Focus

June 30, 2005

Wow, it is really easy to let your focus go. You can just relax, and see things unravel right before your eyes. Is it summer? Is it being so damned busy with work that you can’t think straight? I don’t know. But my focus is wavering.

I am working on my whole person solution. I’m reviewing my goals and trying to execute against them. But when it comes to allocating time in my day, I’m definitely not staying as religious to my fitness goals. It’s showing. I’m getting downright doughy in the middle. Shuuuugar.

Anyhow, I’m checking in, because I’m really wavering. And dammit since I switched this thing over, I can’t seem to get my blogrolling thing working, so I have to really manually work at reading your stuff. I think you’re all wonderful. I’ll get back there soon enough.

Don’t give up on me.

Thanks for writing Chris. It’s easy to blog when you’re on top of your game - not so easy when you are struggling. I know how easy it is to let your fitness stuff go, especially when you aren’t working toward a specific goal. I’m confident you will get back to it - sounds like a care of starting something new and not being able to juggle everything. Maybe watched a little of the tour & get fired up! :-)

Breathe, then do one thing, and good things will come to you. You, don’t give up on you.

It’s hard to keep it all together when life gets in the way. One step at a time….you’ll be fine.

Hang in there, Chris. And doughy in the middle is caused by summer. I know. I have dough. Well, maybe mine was caused by the chocolate.

Is Blogrolling like Bloglines?

You can do it. You have done it. Dig in and keep pushing. Habits are formed by repetition. No food tastes better than being alive and healthy for your daughter’s Ivy League college graduation and having the first dance at her 1500+ guest wedding reception (start saving, bubba!).
