Chris, it has finally dawned on me how brilliant Google is at integrating all their pieces. With the recent launch of Buzz, I'm exploring how the Google profile will become even more useful in promoting my work.

I didn't know about the review thing you mentioned, but I like it that participating in Google's user community benefits me in more ways than the simple joys I get from using their tools.

3 things that are way powerful:

Google Friend Connect in full release on YouTube.

The new events widget that Google just released. Real slick, think webinars and BlogTalkRadio or better live local MeetUps.

AND Google does not want to be a social site, they are a browser OS and I have been running it for 6 months. I just generated 30,000 YouTube views using my GFC contacts.

I agree that this is a great marketing opportunity for people who understand the direction that the Internet in general, and Google in particular, are heading. And Chris, the pirate, is leading the way into these uncharted waters. Thanks for the great tip.
