Happy Birthday Harold

January 22, 2007 · Comments

Harold Explores Today is my son’s first birthday. A year ago, at the moment I’m typing this, he was coming out. Harold was an easy birth, and so far, he’s an easy-going kid. He likes strange things, like herding lots of rolling balls, and bouncing while in a seated position.

Harold is named after my wife’s father. Sometimes, when he’s grumpy, he looks like his poppy. But it’s very rare that Harold is grumpy. His default expression seems more like, “Hey man, I’m just goin’ with the flow.”

So, Happy Birthday, Son. I’m glad you’re poking around. Now, grow a few years older, so we can talk.
