It’s Jon Swanson’s birthday today. We’re doing all kinds of fun (silly) social media things to celebrate. So far, we’ve changed our Twitter icons to be pictures of Jon. We’ve sent direct messages. We’ve emailed. We’ve written on his facebook wall. We’ve started a full press on all fronts to wish Jon a happy birthday.
Play along!
If you have a few minutes, drop by Jon’s Blog and leave a comment or a birthday wish. Add Jon on Twitter and/or Pownce or Facebook. Write on his wall on Facebook. Leave messages. Do whatever to ring the bells.
Memory
I’m sitting on Jon’s couch in a quiet little suburb in Indiana. Jon’s son has a guest over, and as they’re walking past Jon and I, the friend says, “Who’s that?” Jon’s son says, “That’s my dad’s Internet friend.” What a hoot.
Happy Birthday, Reverend. Keep doing amazing work.

ChrisBrogan.com runs on the Thesis Theme for WordPress
Thesis is the search engine optimized WordPress theme of choice for serious online publishers. If you’re a blogger who doesn’t understand a lot of PHP, Thesis will give a ton of functionality without having to alter any code. For the advanced, Thesis has incredible customization possibilities via Thesis hooks.
With so many design options, you can use the template over and over and never have it look like the same site. The theme is robust and flexible enough not only to accommodate a site like ChrisBrogan.com, but also to enable the site to run far more efficiently than it ever has before.
