Hey iPhone Users- Mobile ChrisBrogan

July 10, 2008

Did you wait in line to get the new iPhone 3G? Want to try something out? Check out [chrisbrogan.com] rendered for mobile phones. Oh, and if you’re like me and didn’t buy a new iPhone, it works just fine on your phone, too. : )

Essentially, by adding your url at Mofuse.com, you can spit back out a perfectly pretty mobile version of your blogging content. Slick, eh?

Chris, I played around with this a little. I like it, but as a podcaster, I hate that I don’t see a player, or even an mp3 file to download when I view my posts. Any thoughts?

If you’re blog is running a self-hosted version of WordPress, you can easily provide a mobile compatible version for your readers with Alex King’s Mobile Edition plugin. Available at http://alexking.org/projects/wordpress/readme?project=wordpress-mobile-edition

Super easy plugin to use. Gives you a mobile friendly version without having to create an account somewhere.

Cool! Thanks for that. Certainly easy to set up. I have put in my header colours, but not done any more so far. Haven’t quite figured out how to make my normal blog menu appear yet, but happy enough. Good value for the price!
