Hottest Legs In Town- Get an XPad

August 6, 2009 · Comments

I just tried out the Xpad fanless laptop cooler, because a new friend, Kimberly, brought one to Twiistup for me to use. It’s basically a very cool (but simple) design to do fanless laptop cooling. Watch this video:

Neat, huh? All I can say is that it works, and if you’re used to melted legs from a laptop, this is your inexpensive fix.

(Not social media at all: just a nice person who was social getting some media from me.)

OK, obvious question that no one's yet asked: Why isn't this actually BUILT IN to laptops?

I got my first iphone last month. First question I asked: Everyone buys a case, and Applestores even SELL lots of cases, some of them with batteries built in, so why aren't there bigger iphones with cases and batteries already built in?
  • The purchase page doesn't look legit though? it's not very secure
  • I, too, have a MacBook Pro and you're right about them frying your lap. (that's why Apple calls them portable desktop computers, not laptops).

A few months ago, I got a Targus Chill Mat at Wal-Mart. This one has fans and plugs into your USB and it really works! But your friend's product looks cool, too.
  • Just think. If you had posted this before the last, the internet would have been a much happier place this morning :)
  • Nice beard! LOL
  • Yup, I have one of these myself, have had it for a year+, after breaking a foldy plastic Laptop Desk. This is just simple, works, and the cushioned bottom means I can use it on my lap, comfortably.
  • I've been thinking of getting a coolpad for a while now. Thanks for the tip! I'm going to order one right away.

  • Laughing at your social media bit beneath the video. :) Glad the xpad is keeping your legs safe! And I am going to claim credit now as the girl you mentioned :)

That looks sweet and practical. Thanks for sharing. The fan on my laptop sounds like an old Land Rover going in reverse. Only one cure for that. :-)

    Great headline, by the way!

or you could already own a thinkpad
  • That's a great idea. I basically have to hold my laptop suspended in mid-air after about 30 minutes of use, lest I suffer permanent injury.

Also, dude, you need a haircut.
