I Wish Chris Brogan Would

Wishes I wish Chris Brogan would write more about marketing. I wish he’d talk more about social media for nonprofits. I wish Chris would write more about software (and why I don’t). Chris doesn’t cover social media.

Chris’s blog posts are too short. Chris’s blog posts are too long. Chris writes too much about himself. Chris is too into money and not spiritual.

Chris takes, takes, takes. He is aloof. He forgets where he comes from.

I wish Chris Brogan would…

I wish Chris Brogan would stop feeling bad when the “Eye-Rollers / Pre-Judgers” criticize him.

I wish Chris Brogan would never secretly stop crawling into my head or peeking into my office to identify all of those things that I keep lagging on. And, I especially wish that Chris Brogan would never stop publicly calling me all out on these behaviors, giving me the kick in the pants that I need just at the right time. How does Chris Brogan do that?

I think Chris Brogan just knows because he’s a lot like you.

I wish Chris Brogan would make a Chris Brogan clone who could sit on my shoulder to guide, help and advice me!
I wish Chris Brogan was older than me, it’s so much easier to take advice frrom older people!
I wish I’d have read / heard Chris Brogan’s Trust Agents the second it came out.

Cloning is still illegal, I’m told. Or someone told one of my clones that. I forget.

+1 for this. There will always be haters, and the higher you go the more there are. Thankfully we don’t need to please everyone, and those not on our boat will self-select out.

Your posts are always so timely! Just yesterday I received a message from someone telling me I was doing it all wrong, but she wanted to give me a chance to fix it before she quit reading. Made me feel like crap all day. I’m sure, being Chris Brogan, you get that time a million. You made my day. Thanks for doing what you do daily. You help a lot of people.

    • http://chrisbrogan.com Chris Brogan

Very nice that she gave you a chance. Drop everything. : )

    Great!!

I also learned that I need to be the ‘Best YOU of YOU’. When others want to control me and make me a different YOU then I can’t serve them anymore because then I am no longer looking in the mirror where I can see the ‘Best YOU of YOU’.

    Cheers.. Are

I wish Chris Brogan would stop caring about what other people think so much ;^) Buck up little camper. Most naysayers don’t have the cahoonas to do it themselves.

I wish Chris Brogan would lend me some of his supreme article-writing mojo, so that I might at least for a time, have the discipline and will to post regular updates to my one little old blog. How many is he maintaining now, 5, 6, 10?

  • Bobby

Yeah, and I wish I had that many people talking about me! :) You are doing just fine – keep up the good work, keep being you, and keep growing and improving. The fate of the world is not hanging on your work, but many good people are hanging on your every word. Kind of like Peter Parker’s uncle says in Spiderman: “With great power comes great responsibility.” Go to it, grasshopper!

Ehh… Shake off the haters and give them the “Heisman” stiff-arm (like I know you are). Let them complain and hate while you continue to create and innovate. It’s obvious they are still giving you traffic and views on the daily… So it’s cool :)

I’m digging the facial hair…You look like a Marketing Guy that rides a Harley to appointments… I’m only going to dignify the rest of the post with this: Haters always hate but also always still read and more the likely use your ideas more than your fans…

    Keep fighting the good fight!
