Interesting article and interesting site. I am still trying to figure out a way to have a one-stop destination for me to access all my web apps. Is a personal blog the way to go with links to facebook, twitter, linkedin, etc…

I went to Identi.ca to see what it was all about and reserve my name (thanks for the personal branding tip). While I don’t fully speak the IT language, I believe the Open ID thing will be huge for the future. But I’m with you Chris. For all its (sometimes) frustrations, I’m sticking with Twitter for the presence and the relationships that are already forming.

Good post – thanks for confirming it’s OK to check out new things but not dive in completely to everything.
