Interested in Affiliate Marketing?

thesis badge Here’s something circular: I was just reading Copyblogger, about how superstar Missy Ward just joined the Thesis team as their affiliate manager. There are three neat things about this.

1.) Buying Thesis through Missy’s affiliate link means you’re donating to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Of the three, this is pretty cool to do.
2.) Buying Thesis through my affiliate link and showing me the confirmation email means I’ll put you into a drawing to win a free Gold Pass to the Affiliate Summit East event (where I’m keynoting this fall).
3.) Becoming a Thesis affiliate person yourself means you can earn your own ticket to the Summit if you sell 3 instances of thesis through your own code.

So, either this is a post promoting affiliate marketing, or it’s a post promoting Missy Ward, who runs the Affiliate Summit, or it’s a post promoting Thesis and its affiliate program, or its…

Circular.

ChrisBrogan.com runs on the Thesis Theme for WordPress

Thesis WordPress theme

Thesis is the search engine optimized WordPress theme of choice for serious online publishers. If you’re a blogger who doesn’t understand a lot of PHP, Thesis will give a ton of functionality without having to alter any code. For the advanced, Thesis has incredible customization possibilities via Thesis hooks.

With so many design options, you can use the template over and over and never have it look like the same site. The theme is robust and flexible enough not only to accommodate a site like ChrisBrogan.com, but also to enable the site to run far more efficiently than it ever has before.

  • The idea of a money affiliate program arose back in the mid-1990's when a large internet business decided to try posting advertisements on host websites, offering compensation to the site owners when they brought in new customers. Of course, other businesses were quick to recognize the opportunities presented by a money affiliate program, and a whole industry was soon born.
  • Thanks for sharing, it's great that buying a thesis can lead to a donation to charity, very cool and a nice thing to do.
  • hmm very interesting thanks chris
  • I just had an epiphany. Thank you Chris!
  • Affiliate Marketing also bring us innovation and new markets in Turkey, thank you for your post.
  • Circular. Like a dog chasing his tail :-)
  • Circular indeed!
  • Chris,

Missy Ward is the real deal! Giving back is so very crucial, especially now.

I have a Platinum Pass for #ASE2009 in NYC, but want to participate and help Missy's mission.

Thank you for the 'circular', about being 'circular', I'll circular back later.

    Respectfully,

  • I guess I will have to set up a Thesis affiliate account!

I just bought Thesis about two weeks ago. Do upgrades to developer count? I'm going to have to do it anyway at some point given Thesis has already saved me literally days worth of headaches.
  • Just signed up for thesis and I love it. Once I get my new site running (hopefully by the weekend) I will take you up on that offer.

  • Hey Chris,

Thank you for bringing awareness to ThesisAffiliates.com affiliate program and the cause that I continue to champion, which is breast cancer treatment and awareness.

I just wanted to add that not only am I donating the commissions that I earn through my affiliate link, but I'm actually donating *all* of the money that I'm earning from managing the ThesisAffiliates.com affiliate program.

    So getting back to circular...

It's a win-win situation for everyone... Thesis users, Thesis affiliates and the National Breast Cancer Foundation :)

Thanks again Chris, for doing all that you do.
  • I love Thesis and wish I had bought mine many moons ago from you. I didn't know.... ;-( Boy, I'd LOVE to earn a Summit ticket!
  • I think I am going to go for getting the gold pass. I have always been a fan of offline promotion. In my opinion, putting a human face to your work makes people more comfortable and impressed.
