    I love how the piece was not about the technology, but how it was about people connecting..

    They mention the Homolka trial – a brutal murder of two teenagers that shook the country… That was in 1993 – so this piece is probably from that year. The anchor Peter Mansbridge still hosts the CBC national newscast. The reporter, Bill Cameron passed away a couple of years ago..
