Mister Jeremiah Owyang asks me, “Do you respect media snackers?” What a great question. It talks to the point of how much media we consume, in which formats, and what that does in an already time-starved world. My thoughts:
In Text, No
I write a little too long to be a good snack choice. My blog posts take time to read. Also, according to Jeremiah, I should be paying attention to frequency and not posting so often. That’s unlikely to change (frequency), but maybe I can make more snack-sized posts.
In Audio, Yes
My audio bits for Marketing Over Coffee are less than two minutes long. (I know that I owe you guys some more, right?). And my NEW show (not yet released), well that’s pretty brief audio.
Oh, and I’m going to use the hell out of Utterz at PodCamp Boston, so that’s good, too.
In Video, Yes
My videos are brief. You’ll see some more videos here on [chrisbrogan.com], and they’ll also be part of my new project. So between both sites, I’m going to stay under 5 minutes.
The Grade
So, maybe I get a C- right now, or a D, but maybe once I get my other media into the mix, I’ll upgrade?
Oh. And let’s not forget Twitter.
Thanks for the question, Jeremiah. I look forward to conferencing with you SOON!
