Jetset Community Site Launches

The Video People. The Video People.I’m a HUGE fan of JETSET. I love that we feature them at Network2. I love that we’ve hung out. And now, I love what they’ve done with MIX.

MIX is JETSET’s social networking site, powered by Ning. (Side note: I’ve started a PodCamp social site using the same software, but it’s not as developed). As per their recent episode (scroll down to watch it), Zadi announced how they’re going to incorporate MIX into the mix (cough cough) of what they’re doing with JETSET.

Okay, pause. For those of you not already subscribed and still waiting for your size XL shirt, JETSET is a weekly show promoting cool cultural and social news, geared strongly towards teens and 20-somethings, but in an absolutely I’m-37-and-still-dig-it way. Each week brings you something you’ve NEVER seen, humor wrought by Steve and Zadi, and some really good production quality. The last six or seven episodes have me CRAZY, because they just keep getting better and better.

So, if you want, check out the show, check out MIX, and get into JETSET. Like I said, the most recent episode when I blogged this is shown below.

And if you like JETSET, check out Scriggity and maybe Hey Josh! too.

I just have to chime in and say how much I’m loving JetSet lately. The show is brilliant and Zadi inspired me to start videoblogging with her passionate and emotional 50th episode monologue.

They do fantastic stuff, and using MIX to help bring their community together is a great idea. I didn’t realize they were using ning for that. I’ll definitely join the podcamp Ning.

I’m also looking forward to seeing what Ze Frank does with the ORG, he talked about maybe opening it up for other people to use and build upon, which would be awesome!

wow. Zadi looks ON. I can’t wait for my dad to buy a vidcam so I can start adding some of that to my blog.

It’s for a crowd older than I am, but I’m definitely going to check out the MIX site and post a review at http://www.kidreviewer.com.

thanks for the tips, and the links to tools and stuff. I’m trying to bring ‘kid cred’ to review blogging, and it looks like jetset is keeping it real for the 18-22 year olds.

Chris, what can we say? Wow. We’re just glad we’ve been able to get to know such interesting, passionate people like yourself and so many others through this medium. As high as our ambitions are with JETSET, it’s the community that keeps us going. We want to see how far we can push things. When tools like Ning come along, they sometimes make things sizzle. :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thanks for the shout-out Chris!! :)

It’s a grand experiment for us… and hopefully leads into other really cool things… If the envelope can be pushed, we want to try and push it.

Zadi and Steve I’m watching you guys VERY closely and learning a lot. You guys are hard working, focused and ambitious and that will pay off. Thanks for being a living social media success “roadmap”!

LOL at the piano stairs. They should make a video where a bunch of people actually make music that way.
