Julien Smith

October 19, 2006 · Comments

Julien Smith is a great guy. If I were someone else, I’d consider being Julien Smith. When I was recently in New York, walking from my hotel room to the office about a mile away, I listened to Julien Smith’s great podcast, In Over Your Head.

Caution, Julien Smith’s show is explicit. Explicitly good. It’s a hip-hop show, officially, but really, it’s this amazing platform that Julien Smith is using to develop a relationship with people who become instantly and passionately connected to Julien Smith.

I highly recommend that YOU become friends with Julien Smith, too.

  • wow, you guys like what i do? wtf. this is nuts. thanks.
  • I'm in the same boat, I had known about his show but subscribed after podcamp and now I'm hooked.

It brings me back to the days when I was a cool urban deweller, not some suburban corporate wonk (and scarier yet, loving it).
  • I totally agree, Julien knows I am a fan- he has got to be frightened that his demographic is now skewing older and to parents with kids, but he is so freakin' smart, direct, and insightful, it's impossible not to love his show!
  • Well, ok. But only if you promise to tell me his name and URL. :)
  • ok, i am now officially frightened. :)
