I’m so grateful to Jared Goralnick of SET Consulting who turned me on to the Waterfield bags on a recent visit to my town. I bought the VertiGo bag with a Mambo laptop sleeve case to go inside, and I bought the shoulder straps with D rings.
What’s really cool about the experience was that the people from Waterfield emailed me shortly after the order to say that they were missing a piece of material and that the order would be delayed by a day or two. I wrote back and thanked them, and then they wrote back and chatted me up a bit.
I loved it. I felt like they really cared who was buying their bag.
A little later, they were ready to ship, and they emailed me to tell me that. Now, I have to stress, this delay they spoke of was like… two days instead of one day, or something like that. It was NOT a big stink. And yet, they treated me like I was waiting for this bag and that all time was stopped until I had it.
So good on you, Waterfield, and thanks to Jared Goralnick for good Word of Mouth on it. I’m really happy with my bag. (Next time, I’ll get the flap thing. I need ONE more pocket).
