Man in a Suit

October 15, 2006 · Comments

Man in a Suit I’m not kidding. When I bought this suit, the very first thought was, Casey will approve. She’s the one who told me I had to dress nice for the Vloggies.

Between now and then, there’s a party in NYC, and I have a Halloween fest that won’t really see this suit, but might get the new sports coat.

Believe me, I’m not meant for suits, and they tolerate me just barely. You know, it was neat to get it all done, but I’m not a suity guy by nature.

So, what do you think?

  • I'm thinking that is SMOKING... not as in smoking jacket, but as in gawd I hope you aren't trying to bring sexy back, cause I just think that song is call all putzes... how do I know all the words, sheer amount of time in cah. wholly bejeezus, you are on the move lately.
  • Ready for GQ.
  • honestly, men look good to me no matter what. its the women i'm worried about. ladies, RED CARPET. lol. :) and when i say ladies, i'm including myself. i'm very worried. sometimes, i hit myself in the head with the "what the hell are you wearing" stick.
  • Looks good. Tiny tip - button all but the bottom button. Makes the lapels lie smoothly, but doesn't make it gather around your butt when you walk.
  • You look great! And Like a Grown-up! It also sounds like you're having fun - is there still a dream like quality to the new gig?
  • that guy up there says he just came! ... me, i just think it's nice.
  • Hawt. You look so gangsta.

    As Plante would say:
"I like you kid, you got what it takes. You're signed!"
  • I think I just came.
  • Meg
Very snazzy. Yesterday Aidan wore his tux all day. Even when everyone else had shed their jackets, ties and cummerbunds, he stayed all gussied up. After a couple hours on the dance floor he did dump the rental shoes.
I never imagined a 6 year old would prefer to wear the fancy duds over the ultra casual... unlike you... :0
  • Nice outfit Chris. Very smart and crisp. You almost look like a grown up. Don't go acting different now that you're famous though. We like you just the way you are!
  • Very nice, though something in the breast pocket might be a nice complement.
  • That image consultant came through for you!

Now if we can just get you to look a *tad* more comfortable dressed up...

Are more pics on the way?
  • I guess that's the price you have to pay to live your dreams :-D
  • Laura_ I'll be wearing something tomorrow, but likely not that shirt and tie. I have smart casual on board, as well as the other options. I basically just brought all the new stuff for this trip. By next trip, I'll have more confidence as to what to leave behind.

    David- not at all.

Steve- Thanks, amigo. Though I feel more like a bouncer.
  • Looks good!
  • laura15SecondPitch
VERY SHARP!!! I really like the tie, and the blue shirt just happens to be the same color as the 15Secondpitch logo, so of course, you know I've gotta LOVE that! I guess I'll be seeing this in person tomorrow night. I thought they said "smart casual" on the invitation though?! I will be wearing a suit, because I prefer to wear suits, and because there's not really anything in my closet that's "smart casual." There's plenty of DUMB casual, mind you.
  • Smokin!!! Bet you didn't see this coming a year ago!!
