Random rambling thoughts...

Nintendo deserve all that they get, it's a stupid name and they should have realized.

I remember reading something recently about 'Starbuck's' and their special language of 'venti' and 'grande' , it's all part of them making you part of the 'Starbuck's' experience, making you use their language - you'll feel more like a traitor when you visit 'Gloria Jean's'. As we don't have 'Starbuck's' in Western Australia, I am facing serious withdrawal symptoms, my first born child for one of those Grande Mocha Franacino's.

I was reading Twyla Tharp book 'The Creative Habbit' and she highlights how artists choose their creative name, Mozart played around with 20 or so variations of him name before settling on 'Amadeus'. Should we all have creative names?.. clearly from my del.icio.us account mine is 'Kwylo'.

It took us three weeks to agree on the name 'KEYFRAME' for our animation program at the Film and Television Institute, but it's got to be an improvement on 'The Centre for Advanced Digital Screen Animation, Games and Traditional and Digital Puppetry', that it was previously named.

Naming things is hard.

Maybe this is why pregnancy is 9 months long.

LOVE your comment about venti. I always felt extreme negativity when a perky 20-year-old "barista" (nuther yuck term) spouted out the 20-word description for the $5 drink that was ready for the customer.
