New Media School 4a is Up

Proud as I was of Fat Guy Gets Fit #13 for the goofy sound effects, I really had a blast shooting the latest episode for New Media School. This is a how-to episode on how to do audio podcasting with Garage Band 3 (an apple product). I had a swell time, however, mixing in a little “story” of starting my day out, complete with toothbrushing and shaving.

I learned lots shooting the flick, and it’s pretty fun. Check it out HERE.

Let me know what you think.

I loved the sound effects. As well as that, I thought the pacing in FGGF13 was better than ever.

Ever jealous of newer shinier toys, I am glad that this works on Garageband 2.0 as well because I have that version. The only difference is that GB2 doesn’t give you a podcast choice.

Who knows. Another two or three months at this rate, and I might start to like audio podcasts.

Now, film I get, and I thought yours was excellent. Great use of subtitles (and they looked good, too). Using a story in the background – even if the story of brushing your teeth is only marginally analagous to recording a podcast – is a great idea.

    Keep playing!
