Open Source Software Considers Political Candidates

February 7, 2008 · Comments

Whurley has a question for you: who’s going to be the best president of the US, when it comes to the point of view of people in the open source movement? You can take the poll at his blog, or you can answer it below. The data goes to the same place. What’s YOUR take?

ChrisBrogan.com runs on the Thesis Theme for WordPress

Thesis WordPress theme

Thesis is the search engine optimized WordPress theme of choice for serious online publishers. If you’re a blogger who doesn’t understand a lot of PHP, Thesis will give a ton of functionality without having to alter any code. For the advanced, Thesis has incredible customization possibilities via Thesis hooks.

With so many design options, you can use the template over and over and never have it look like the same site. The theme is robust and flexible enough not only to accommodate a site like ChrisBrogan.com, but also to enable the site to run far more efficiently than it ever has before.

  • Hey Chris,

Thanks for posting this! Hopefully we can get a large number (100k plus) of people to share their opinion on this.

As with all “open source”, the code to the poll is available on my website for anyone who wants to take it.

Thanks again for helping drive interest in this!

    ttys,
    whurley
  • It looks like Barack is winning ALL the polls these days. I'm not really sure of his policies on open source software, but he has such a clear vision on so many other issues that I can only imagine he would have good ideas here as well.

But of course, I'm Canadian, so my opinion doen't really matter.
  • Drew- I'm all about the Canadians. Your thoughts matter here just as much. : )
