Well-written, Chris, and you speak about something dear to my mind. I don't just want to speak. I crave interaction. I want to read, respond, write, read responses, respond again... as we all are inspired to do so.

I look at platforms such as Youtube, Facebook, Linkedin, blogs in general, etc. like Karaoke. It's just plain cool to see anyone get the nerve to express whatever they want, whenever they want, however professional or un-professional any particular person thinks they are. Boomshakalaka. I love it.

You could have stopped with the very first sentence. That was a priceless gem that perfectly sums up what media (all media, not just social media) should become. Can you say "mantra"?

Your SM100 project has gained you another subscriber, methinks. If you keep this up at the current quality level, we can look forward to a new textbook for those college media classes.
