Presentation Slide Deck

August 19, 2007 · Comments

Here’s the slide deck for my presentation at PodCamp Pittsburgh. It won’t make as much sense without the slide with the teeny tiny print. The basic premise was that presentations are relationships, not to waste people’s time, and to treat people like they’re smart. Beyond that, it was mostly design.

So here’s the deck that went along with my talk.

ChrisBrogan.com runs on the Thesis Theme for WordPress

Thesis WordPress theme

Thesis is the search engine optimized WordPress theme of choice for serious online publishers. If you’re a blogger who doesn’t understand a lot of PHP, Thesis will give a ton of functionality without having to alter any code. For the advanced, Thesis has incredible customization possibilities via Thesis hooks.

With so many design options, you can use the template over and over and never have it look like the same site. The theme is robust and flexible enough not only to accommodate a site like ChrisBrogan.com, but also to enable the site to run far more efficiently than it ever has before.

  • I'm sorry, I was trying to pay attention to your blog but got distracted by your slides. :-)
  • Excellent!
  • Looks really great Chris. Wish I were there to attend with you. Perhaps you could come to BarCampMilwaukee October 13/14? We'd love to have you!
  • Most stylish PowerPoint I've ever seen, and that's after three years of college.

Of course, the dialog presented along with it added a great deal.
