Reasons Why the Creative Class Will Leave

Every day that my company blocks another website is another day I work harder on my startup. (They blocked Steve’s Off on a Tangent blog site as Adult/Mature.

Every day that my company adds procedures and policies to simply operate this computer is another day I work harder on my startup.

Every day that they choose to make it harder to work with people outside of my company, even on company-specific things, is another day I work harder on my startup.

Open is the new black.

Virtual is the new black.

Chocolate is the new … phone from LG offered by Verizon Wireless (God, I wish I got money for that!)

Rant rant rant… whisper… silently leave and form a revenue-generating startup.

    They just installed a sonicwall here so I feel your pain. The internet has been canceled. Some of the news sites I used to read are blocked as adult themed. Even an MS Access tutorial site I tried to visit yesterday was blocked as porn. I’m one horny bastard.
