Small Business Marketing-Unleashed

February 16, 2008 · Comments

Points to Jennifer Laycock and team for their Small Business Marketing Unleased conference, coming to Houston, Texas for April 21st & 22nd. I think the premise of their conference is clear: 10 smart search and online marketing experts teach a small group (limited to 200 seats) lots of stuff, with a promise that they won’t talk over anyone’s head. Simple sell.

Jennifer and company are out there doing good grassroots stuff, and really connecting through all the interesting methods. I like their YouTube video:

Are you a small business? Are you interested in learning more about this kind of thing? This might be a show for you to check out.

Thesis WordPress theme

Thesis is the search engine optimized WordPress theme of choice for serious online publishers. If you’re a blogger who doesn’t understand a lot of PHP, Thesis will give a ton of functionality without having to alter any code. For the advanced, Thesis has incredible customization possibilities via Thesis hooks.

With so many design options, you can use the template over and over and never have it look like the same site. The theme is robust and flexible enough not only to accommodate a site like ChrisBrogan.com, but also to enable the site to run far more efficiently than it ever has before.

  • Thanks for the kind words Chris!

It's our first foray into the conference world and we're really looking forward to it. I've got a few surprises up my sleeve for the show to make it unique. It should be a good time. :)
  • Chris thanks for promoting this. I'm lucky enough to be one of the invited speakers and it should be a blast for small business owners.
