Speaking at BlogWorld Expo

October 17, 2007 · Comments

Things sometimes just fall into interesting shapes and ways. It turns out that I’ll be sharing the stage with Mr. Jeremiah Owyang himself, talking about Creating a Coherent Social Media Strategy. We’re discussing the guts of the presentation shortly, so I don’t have the details, but it’s just another reason why I’m really looking forward to attending and participating at the event.

By the way, other folks that will be fun to see again or meet for the first time:

Rick Calvert, who’s putting on the show with a small team, impressed me in person when we talked a few months back at Gnomedex. I’m looking forward to saying hi to Rick and the team, and I’m hopeful for the event, as I think it’s an interesting slice on the new media industry: gathering bloggers, podcasters, videobloggers from various subject matters and disciplines and putting us all in the same game. I like it.

ANNNNNNNND, if you’re thinking of attending, and I hope you do, I’ve got a code for you:

Enter podcamp15 in the registration code area, and that should slice a little off the top. OH! And you have until THIS FRIDAY to make that happen.

NOTE: This event has nothing to do with my employer, pulvermedia, and is not in any way endorsed by the people who pay me a paycheck. I’m doing this on my own time and accord.

  • You ve got a point there. You said is right. I believe that to be completed.
  • Oh! I want to be there! My two most favorite rockstars in one place speaking together!
  • Mary Pace
Here's hoping you'll provide a recap of your presentation, right? Can't make the conference, but would love to hear/read what you and Jeremiah put together.... have you give that some thought?
  • Good. Hope to get a preview of it from both of you tonight.
  • Chris

Great having the strategy meeting, I know our presentation will deliver great value (and be entertaining) at the conference.

Thanks again for dinner, let's get drinks soon, oh, like tonight!
  • YES! I am coming and your session will be the highlight of my trip ... er maybe the Bunny Ranch ... nevermind.

Though, I hate the fact that two folks I want to meet in person are speaking ... other attendees always lineup and bogart your attention. Guess I'll have to practice my hip checking.

    Can't wait!
