This is something of an emotional post for me. Over a year ago, I paid money to attend Podcast Academy 2 in Boston, to see Doug Kaye, Michael Geoghegan, C.C. Chapman, Paul Figgiani, John Federico, John Furrier, Steve Garfield, and a few others. I was so motivated (and yes, had some mixed emotions, because a message I took away was that podcasting cost a lot of money to do). Most of the people I met in April are people who’ve gone from being people I revere and consider legends to being people I revere and consider friends.
I’m happy to be speaking at Podcast Academy 6 taking place the day before the Podcast and New Media Expo. This is cool for 3 reasons: 1.) I’m honored. 2.) There’s a PodCamp the same day so that’ll rock! 3.) It means I can go to the PME (man, gotta learn to call it the new name!) and hang with the crowd that shows up there.
So there. Now, I just have to cook up a topic that’s useful to Michael’s audience. Did I tell you who else is speaking?

The target is fairly corporate. I’m really interested to know who’ll be in that audience. And hey, I’m going to HAVE to visit the PodCamp there too, y’know. : ) But this should be pretty great stuff. If you’re coming to town and have a professional interest in the podcasting thing, consider stopping by.
