A large part of my job has begun to involve specific boston moving ideas for my company and it’s partners. I agree with your ethos, we need to start moving people and have more technology than ever which will allow us to do that now.

I am “moving” information on selling my moving trucks using a blog, twitter and just through sharing my experiences. Years ago I would have just listed in the paper classifieds. Now I am finding myself helping people that have the same entrepreneurial spirit as me by answering their questions on how we started and maintained our successful moving company and then ultimately why we decided to pursue other dreams. I am feeling pretty good about sharing and educating as well as trying to sell my trucks at the same time. There is a lot to say about this sharing, educating and engaging social media way. It has kept me interested in whole new ways and has even given me new ideas for starting up other businesses.

I agree Chris, my experience has shown that many businesses are already information movers…it's just that the moving process is very slow. The operational shock that can be experienced when forced to think at the speed of Jeff Pulver's “status of now” is interesting; many efficiencies can be found should there be an internal willingness to change.
