Subscription Drive

announcer I love that you swing by my blog. I truly do. But I’d love it more if you subscribed for free to the content I give you here. Subscribing tells me I’m doing it right. It lets me know that you’re so willing to get what I’m sending you that you’ll take extra efforts to get it sent to you for free. And not just you, cherubs. Share with your friends that maybe THEY should be subscribed to this site. They’ll thank you for it later, and I’ll thank you for it now.

Prefer to get [chrisbrogan.com] in your email inbox? That’s easy. Just put your email address in here:

Enter your email address:

Delivered by FeedBurner

Now, maybe YOU already get the blog in your RSS reader or your inbox, but do you have any friends you know who should subscribe? This is the perfect post to point them to. Heck, if you want to tweet it, just copy/paste THIS little ditty into your Twitter box:

Are you subscribed to chrisbrogan.com ? I am. – http://bit.ly/cbsub

See? Easy cheesy. (Wish I could play a “ding” sound effect here to go with my perfect smile.)

Want to just dump it into your Google Reader? Swell!

Add to Google Reader or Homepage

And, as an added bonus, you could consider signing up to my free weekly newsletter, which is NOTHING like [chrisbrogan.com]. Instead, it’s a weekly look behind the scenes into how human business works, and it’s full of tips and ideas you can use to improve your work life. It’s not for everyone, but we’re having some fun in there, and so I thought I’d invite you along.

Now, are you ready to share the heck out of this? I know I am. : )

And seriously, thank you. Thank you for all the attention and kindness you give me. I’m always grateful to have you as a community to support what I’m doing here. I work tirelessly because I think I can help you with what’s next, and so because of that, I’m grateful that you’re willing to share this site with your friends and colleagues. Thank you again.

Chris – interesting that you'd dedicate an entire post to asking/encouraging readers to subscribe. I'm assuming you'll blog about the results? I'd love to hear how successful this approach is.

    Rock on dude.

I'm subscribed through your site. I get your daily emails already. I'm surprised to get a subscription drive email from someone I already subscribe to.

It's an RSS post from a blog. How would I filter you out? It's send to everyone who gets the blog. Sorry, but there's no suppression list for such.

Hint: this is the 7th time I've done this. : )

I did not know of your weekly newsletter before this post. Should be interesting. And thank you for not writing a really interesting post, and interrupting it in the middle with an impassioned plea about how “Chris Brogan wants to continue to bring you quality blogging, but you need to subscribe now! Our bank of e-mail marketers is standing by!”

Does it count that your website is listed on my Alltop page? Not sure how that is measured. Currently, I use this for my RSS and stopped using Google Reader. Twitter is my second source of news.

I love the way you promote your stuff aggressively but with just the right touch. You shake hands sincerely, but without making me feel like I need to wash my own hands afterward.

I struggle with self-promotion, because I don't want to convey the feeling that it's about me and my success. But at the same time I know that if I don't promote my stuff it won't be seen. I hope I can learn to reflect the same feel I get from you.

So now I'm probably going to rip off this idea for my own blog, hopefully changing enough to keep you from sending the internet police after me. :-)

Is there a way to track who has you setup as a feed? If so, can someone let me know how to do that? Thanks!

Oh Chris…guess what? Blue Sky Factory has a new feature releasing tomorrow. RSS to Email. Pretty sure it would solve the issue Michael Durwin is talking about … suppression lists and such. Maybe we should chat?

7th!? Holy cripes (kinda like that). But now I am confused. How are my comments from a post 5 months ago showing up here. Magic voodoo? Am I just being an idiot? Help me…

    1. Permit a lot of time to source your printed Tees – don’t leave arrangements till the week just before the event, as the chances are a thing will go wrong and you will have missed a useful possibility. The old adage is true: When you fail to strategy, then strategy to fall short.

When the printing is fairly straight forward, then a supplier may well manage to turn your job around speedily or offer you an express assistance but don’t bank on this, as there may possibly be 50 other customers in the queue just before you.
