Be More Productive With Problogger
Darren Rowse has tips on how to be more productive with batch processing. It’s packed with good advice, and I highly recommend it. If you’re not already a giant fan of Problogger, here’s your on-ramp.
Essential Guide to Social Media- Brian Solis
Brian Solis, superstar and rock god, has released his Essential Guide to Social Media. I’m thrilled by this. Brian’s been at this game since 1997, before there was a scene. He was standing around waiting for us all to catch up to him, and now, you can have access to his brilliant book.
Dig in, it’s free. Get it here.
Speaking of Newsletters
I’m really enjoying issue 3 of Lee Hopkins and his newsletter. It’s not free, but I got a copy to evaluate, and I think it’s worth it. Feel free to decide for yourself.

The Utterz mobile blogging platform (and I’m on the advisory board there) is giving away a Nokia N95 for their new as part of the community at SOBCon08.

Guest Post on Problogger
Darren Rowse was kind enough to let me do a guest post on his insanely popular blog, Problogger. Not only did he let me guest, he gave me the “featured” slot for the last few days. But what’s REALLY cool are all the comments in the comments section. It’s very energized, just like we do here.
Swing by and add your own ideas to the post, which is called How I Use Twitter to Promote my Blog. I’m sure Darren would appreciate the visit as much as I appreciate him giving me the shot.

Shel Israel Goes Global on TV
Shel Israel is launched on FastCompany.tv. I don’t want to say much more than I really love the editing and the storytelling and the quality of the production without it feeling too pro. Just watch this episode and tell me what YOU think:
Hitting the Bullseye

The swell folks at Media Bullseye posted an article of mine about establishing online reputation. In it, I talk about how authenticity matters, how to build a base, find friends, share value, and more.
They do great work. Read the full article here.
New Site Design Launched
People who subscribe to the RSS feed: come take a look! With much thanks to Nico from Snowy Day Design, I’m really pleased to launch a new custom designed site layout for [chrisbrogan.com].
The logo at the top was designed by Justin Evans and team from StressLimit Design, a Montreal company. All the other elements on the page were done by Nico, from Argentina. How did I meet both people? Through friends in social networking. Where did I meet them in person for the first time? At PodCamp Boston 2. So, my site’s layout and design was created by the social media community, through social media means, with all kinds of social media elements baked in.
This just rocks. Thanks, Nico, for the design ( Contact Nico), and thanks to Justin Evans for the logo ( Contact Justin).

Talkathon Tuesday the 19th at Noon Eastern
Talkathon will cover an interesting topic for community types tomorrow: What is the NEXT Kiva.org? There is NOTHING quite like Kiva.org. Why not? It’s time to push this idea out there and find a new way to help people worldwide via the Internet.
I think it’s interesting and worth some time.

Signup to Chat With Me on My OoVoo Day
Of course you could talk with me any day of the week, but with My OoVoo Day, you can talk with me on this video conference thingy, and it will be really neato.
The tricky things about OoVoo is that it’s an app that lets you do up to six video chats at a time, so you can get teams together and talk things over. It’s got the IM and voice and all that, too. I think it’s worth checking out as a potential collaborative communications platform. And besides, you and I can chat for a bit.
