You knew I’d miss some folks I wanted to thank, right?
I was so happy to meet all of Uncle Seth, a great podsafe band from Toronto. They came to PodCamp Boston, but better still- they let me come enjoy them at a party, where I also hung out with C.C. , Andrea Mercado, Julien, and two others I really should’ve called out: Mark Blevis and Bob Goyetche. Two great fellers who will be at PodCamp Toronto and also Podcasters Across Borders, a killer event that’s a must-see. Bryan and Leesa were there. Leesa showed a whole other side to herself at that little party (all good). I’m probably STILL missing someone. Thanks for the note, Tara, because you know I love you and your dear Charlotte, too.
Courtney Rau, who helped Grasshopper New Media with all kinds of great music clips and other support, and who’s just a generally cool person, and her beau, the bass man’s best friend, Dale Cruise. Dale and I had this huge flurry of email in the middle of the year, and that was nice. I enjoyed my few hanging out moments with Dale at PodCamp Boston.
Sooz! Susan Kaup. Thank you so very much for your help with PodCamp. It would NOT have gone off so smoothly without all your myriad touches at the very end. I enjoyed our Mr. Toad’s wild ride, and I look forward to planning some Boston events with you in the near term. You’re a very good person to know, and I like your enthusiasm and helpfulness. Thanks to your Mister, as well, as he was clutch with the office supply run. : )
Thanks to Leon Ho for letting me write Lifehack.org (though I’ve been so silent there of late) and to Asha Dornfest for her fun and excitement. I interviewed Asha for the LifeHack podcast, as she runs Parent Hacks.
Thanks to Erica Douglas. What was I *doing* on that last list? Erica ran Career Mom Radio for me, her first ever podcast, and she learned so much on the fly. Holy cow did she learn! And she did a great job running the show while we had it on the go. Thanks to Erica and good luck with Littlemummy.
I’m always thankful for Mark from CompleteRunning.com . Mark’s got a great website that speaks to the power of a blog network. He’s got the top amateur runners and the best “runners for every skill level” blog going. It’s the best thing in the world. If you’re thinking of taking up running, and you’re NOT plugged into the Complete Running Network, you’re missing one of the best free resources out there.
Have I missed anyone else that I love?
