    I lived in Swift Current which is a little over two hours away from Regina until I was 20 and there isn’t an intelligent soul who turns to the Regina Leader Post much less Rob Vanstones Robservations for any sort of well.. anything. I also believe that stereotypical Canadian fans (think Cherry) are by far the dumbest fans in the game so don’t take them too seriously. They’re like sports evangelicals (the crazy ones in documentaries).

    When I broke into Web develop we were optimizing for 640×480 monitors, and any graphic over 25k was too heavy. Just took a look at T-Mobile's 3G coverage (for the Nexus One I'm about to buy) in my state, and it's incredibly small. Looks like the old-fashioned mindset will be back in style for a while.

    I'm not sure why. I hate to point the finger at the kids because I feel that a good player can be coached up but these guys are just not improving like they should. I'm no coach but I have been watching hog basketball for 30 years and this team is the hardest to watch ever. I will always be a fan but it is very hard to see a once great basketball program suck this hard.The issues with Blake and Toskala playing tonight would likely only be those of visas, as there should be plenty of flights available from T.O. to SoFla. Blake’s American, so no visa issue there. Toskala, on the other hand, may need a work visa if he doesn’t still have status from when he played in San Jose.
