'm delighted to know about these, Chris, especially The Power of Giving. In recent years, I've discovered the incredible work that community foundations do on a local level in terms of supporting their area nonprofits as well as serving as a donor resource for cost effective and mission effective giving. “Connecting people who care with causes that matter” is our tagline, I'm going to read this book for ideas on inspiring an abundance mentality and a mindset for giving among people in our community. It's unfortunate the word “philanthropy” has been associated with wealthy people when there are so many ways to give for anyone of any means.

Super thankful for these kinds of reviews. These are 3 books that I havn't come across. Little shifts seems around the idea of the “Power of Small” – by the same people that wrote, the power of nice. I want to do some reviews like this now. Simple, short, to the point. I plan to pick up little things and the giving book once I finish a few i've got on the go.
