Trust Agents- An Introduction

I can’t say thanks enough to John Spiropoulos for his great video project from my trip to Southern California to spend time with Brandtailers. These videos he made are amazing. Pay attention to the quality John put into them more than the content itself. I mean, I’m flattered and pleased, but also pay attention to how John did what he did. I think he’s top shelf. You?

    Visually compelling media are just as important as the message. This is a great example of making a short feature something you want to watch the whole way through.

    Great video. Very professional, like something off of Dateline or Evening News. I have a question.

    Do you own multiple of the same shirt or are you wearing that same one for everything? Not bagging on you, I have shirts I wear on a weekly basis but only person who knows that is my wife (and everyone who just read that comment).

    Definitely a compelling video. Made me add the book to my Amazon wishlist. I had heard about the book but really didn't know much about it and this video sold it for me. As for the video itself, like BuckDaddy it reminded me of Dateline or one of those shows. Really enjoyed it.

    I loved this video. I am growing in my awareness of being a better Trust Agent. I am on page 124 in the book. Please write another one. I love the part about not selling to your audience. that is so great! what a relief. I was resisting selling to my audience but part of me thought I should be carpet bombing. lol

    Hey Chris, I like the writing and production on this video, really gets your message across. Love the B-Roll of bomber footage. Obviously a lot of time went into this. I'd like to hear an alternate version with a different narrator.

    Your message is right on target. Unfortunately, while most people in sales and marketing can see the light, they report to senior managements who are uncomfortable with change, particularly when it involves something they don't understand … social media. To them, the bottom line is what's important, and quotas are the only way to reach their goals.

    The result? For those of us who do “get it,” we can exploit the ever-widening cracks in the very foundation of their businesses and move their customers to our own. Brand loyalty is great to rely upon when your competitors offer basically the same old thing that you do. But, in today's world, where the business – customer relationship has become increasingly sterile, those of us who truly care about people (who also just happen to be our prospective customers) will be able to move mountains.

    Contrary to the “old-line-thinkers,” humanizing business is not an unmeasurable waste of time.

    people want relationships there must be a less deadly metaphor than “carpet bombing” to smart bombs… that is not the kind of relationship i seek from businesses
