Trust Agents- An Introduction

I can’t say thanks enough to John Spiropoulos for his great video project from my trip to Southern California to spend time with Brandtailers. These videos he made are amazing. Pay attention to the quality John put into them more than the content itself. I mean, I’m flattered and pleased, but also pay attention to how John did what he did. I think he’s top shelf. You?

Great work on these videos, is a great trailer for the book as well.

Visually compelling media are just as important as the message. This is a great example of making a short feature something you want to watch the whole way through.

  • http://strawfoot.com Steve Simmons

Great editing. It's obvious that John put a lot of time into this….even though I kept expecting him to say, “Faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than locomotive! And able to leap tall buildings in a single bound!” :-)

    j/k John. Nice work.

Great video. Very professional, like something off of Dateline or Evening News. I have a question.

Do you own multiple of the same shirt or are you wearing that same one for everything? Not bagging on you, I have shirts I wear on a weekly basis but only person who knows that is my wife (and everyone who just read that comment).

  • thewriterslife

    Definitely…I'm very very impressed!

  • http://twitter.com/marketingfails Paul L'Acosta

Very professional indeed! I was just going to ask about the same thing on the shirt! It has to be a lucky token to be successful and getting a video like this one? Not that I believe luck has anything to do with it but hard work and real care! Kudos Chris! –Paul

Looking good, Chris. The shirt's a nice touch!

  • http://oldmedianewtricks.com DanielHonigman

If it works, why change it?

  • http://www.buckdaddyblog.com BuckDaddy

Was just observing not asking for a change. He's rocking that shirt!

  • http://www.losingitandlovingit.com/blog Angie Newton

Definitely a compelling video. Made me add the book to my Amazon wishlist. I had heard about the book but really didn't know much about it and this video sold it for me. As for the video itself, like BuckDaddy it reminded me of Dateline or one of those shows. Really enjoyed it.

LOL! – Nothing says love like 14$ popcorn. ♥ Aint that the truth? Nice work John Spiropoulos!

I loved this video. I am growing in my awareness of being a better Trust Agent. I am on page 124 in the book. Please write another one. I love the part about not selling to your audience. that is so great! what a relief. I was resisting selling to my audience but part of me thought I should be carpet bombing. lol

    thanks,

I've ordered Trust Agents and very much look forward to reading it. Thanks for all your hard work Chris. You rock :)

  • http://chrisbrogan.com Chris Brogan

Glad to make it make a bit more sense. : )

  • http://chrisbrogan.com Chris Brogan

That was all shot in one day.

But because I'm on video often, it now requires me to buy more shirts.

  • http://chrisbrogan.com Chris Brogan

Just one shirt per day, unless I get it messy. : )

I just wanted to give you a shoutout Chris. You are a remarkable blogger and a role model to me! Thanks so much!

Hey Chris, I like the writing and production on this video, really gets your message across. Love the B-Roll of bomber footage. Obviously a lot of time went into this. I'd like to hear an alternate version with a different narrator.

I wish if I can read a book in 1 day … that's for sure gonna be the Trust Agents.

Great video. I completely agree with Emily Jasper's comment, “Visually compelling media are just as important as the message. This is a great example of making a short feature something you want to watch the whole way through.”

Your message is right on target. Unfortunately, while most people in sales and marketing can see the light, they report to senior managements who are uncomfortable with change, particularly when it involves something they don't understand … social media. To them, the bottom line is what's important, and quotas are the only way to reach their goals.

The result? For those of us who do “get it,” we can exploit the ever-widening cracks in the very foundation of their businesses and move their customers to our own. Brand loyalty is great to rely upon when your competitors offer basically the same old thing that you do. But, in today's world, where the business – customer relationship has become increasingly sterile, those of us who truly care about people (who also just happen to be our prospective customers) will be able to move mountains.

Contrary to the “old-line-thinkers,” humanizing business is not an unmeasurable waste of time.

  • http://www.brandtailers.com Cheril Hendry

Wow, Mike Gamble! Well put. Thanks!

  • http://www.movingfrommetowe.com KareAnderson

    Gentle Chris
In “humanizing” business or “putting a face” on business where
people want relationships there must be a less deadly metaphor than “carpet bombing” to smart bombs… that is not the kind of relationship i seek from businesses

Great video and very well done. So far Trust Agents is a great book. Keep up the great work.

Also, don't worry about Buck Daddy's comments. I like the shirt. LOL.

Congratulations to you and John Spiropoulous on a very professional and attention-getting video. I'm sure the stats on this video are doing great! I know you said to focus on the delivery quality but I loved the quote: How can we build a new way to be human at a distance? Bravo!

What a great video explaining the Trust Relationship Revolution. I loved the cost of Disneyland. The perfect example of how something makes you feel and you are happy to pay for it! Definitely good content to share on a blog post! Thank you.
