Two Great Events I Cannot Attend

There are two great events I won’t be able to attend in the next few weeks. I simply have too much to do and had to make some tough decisions to get it all done. Just the same, I want to plug both events, because I think YOU should be there.

First, Supernova, coming up on the 20th-22nd in San Francisco.

The second is Podcasters Across Borders, affectionately called PAB, in Ontario, Canada.

(I’d have a sexy graphic here, but Flickr’s in the poop).

In both cases, it was just work on my side. I strongly advise you attend. You’ll love them!

A shame you can’t make PAB, Chris. I hear you were going to deliver a killer presentation with a pretty cool colleague.

    Ahh, well. I’m sure he’ll manage :)

    Chris-
How do you afford to attend so many conferences?

Thanks for the PAB-Plug Chris – It’s too bad you can’t be there.. It’s going to be a fabulous event. But I understand, there’s only so much Brogan to go around..

Put PAB2008 on your agenda now ;)

    Hey Chris,

I was quite saddened when Bob & Mark threw the update up about you not attending PAB.

I was going to be all mad at you for not coming to the event in my hometown. … Until I realized I haven’t yet been to Boston.

    Race?

To answer Mike McAllen, I can afford to attend so many conferences because I’m employed by a media company that runs events. My travel often contains a hint of community development, even if it’s not directly for my events. PAB, for instance, is an act of love. SuperNova is a mix of love and good business. : )

    Does that help?

There are ways to go to lots of events for free and cheap. Believe me, lots of my friends are conference carpetbaggers.

    Thanks Chris -

Seems whenever my business is doing well I don’t have the time to attend any events. When it is not busy I don’t have the money. Any good carpetbagger books out there? Maybe a new post for you?

    cheers

In a funny twist of fate, I thought I wasn’t going to PAB and now I am. One Chris off the agenda, another one on.
