Just met Shawna this week at #crushitchicago…Gary Vaynerchuk event in Chicago. Very cool girl. Very sweet.

Chris – you loved my life preserver – AWESOME! Thanks for the great shout out and remember that life is easily conquered when you have a smile on your face!

    Take care,

Thanks Christian! @garyvee event was great – terrific meeting you and happy you like my Nose Life Preserver! LOL!

  • shawna88

Gotta keep a smile on your face, right? Life is too short for anything else. :-)

  • shawna88

Thanks Andy. Feeling some pressure? Turn the creative juices on and get a laugh. Works every time! :-)

See, it's that personally engaging stuff…it rocks. It takes a minute; it takes some thought. It takes giving a damn. That's what separates the men from the boys so to speak. Giving a damn and taking a minute to be personal…that's everyone's life preserver :) I loved it!

  • shawna88

    I definitely give a damn. :-) And I agree…

Posts like this are why I continue to listen to Chris Brogan. It may seem sappy, but I appreciate seeing the personable and entertaining glimpses “behind the curtain” of his public persona.

Hey Chris, as the dad of child who had a really bad near drowning accident I ALWAYS cringe with titles like that one, but that was a relief, and what a great concept! We could all do with our “life preserver” now and then!

That was awesome. I love the nose life perserver. Hopefully it will help to keep your head above water Chris.

didn't looklike a life perserver..it looked like a old grren stale donut around his nose…not alot of creativity here!!

  • john h

looked like a old grren stale donut instead of a life perserver

  • addytseng

That's very sweet of you Shawna. He made Chris smile. :-)

  • shawna88

Yeah, but it's an old green stale donut filled with love. It's the message that counts, not the donut. :-)

Giving of yourself to someone else is the best holiday gift you can give in my opinion. Something simple and caring. :-) Thanks for your nice words.
