I’m really excited because Video on the Net is only in a week or so (March 19-22nd). The conference talks about the impact of the broadband Internet on the future of TV, Film, and Broadcasting. We feel that innovations like Internet TV, the democracy of television, the disruption of audiences into deeper niches, and other trends will really be hot topics. There are tons of neat sessions on the event schedule. It’s going to rock.
Are you coming? Do you know who *IS* coming?
- Robert Scoble (ScobleShow)
- Mike Arrington (TechCrunch)
- Andrew Baron (Rocketboom!)
- Justin Kownacki (Something to be Desired)
- Steve Garfield (THE Steve Garfield)
- Brian Conley (Alive in Baghdad)
- Jeff Jarvis (BuzzMachine)
- Jeremy Allaire (BrightCove)
- Steve Starr (Revver)
- Dmitry Shapiro (Veoh)
- Dina Kaplan and Mike Hudack (Blip.tv)
- Niklas Zennstrom (Joost and Skype)
- Shelly Palmer (of the Internet Emmys is hosting)
- Vinod Khosla (Khosla Venture Partners)
- Jeff Pulver (you’ve heard of him, right?)
- That’s all off the top of my head…
And that doesn’t count all the great people coming to participate in the community. Casey McKinnon from Galacticast. Mary Hodder from Dabble, videobloggers ABOUND, and tons of great stuff to see and do. I won’t even tell about the crazy fun stuff we’ve got planned AROUND the conference events. And there’ll be a Network2 booth on the floor, as well as a party Tuesday night.
If you’re on the fence, or if you know someone who shouldn’t miss this show, please check out the website and see if you can go.
