Video- Trust Agents

June 18, 2009 · Comments

The folks at Wiley (my publisher) captured some of my speech about my upcoming book with Julien Smith called Trust Agents. This is very edited down, but gives you a sense of what we’re covering in the book.

If you want to know more about the book, visit Trust Agents.

ChrisBrogan.com runs on the Thesis Theme for WordPress

Thesis WordPress theme

Thesis is the search engine optimized WordPress theme of choice for serious online publishers. If you’re a blogger who doesn’t understand a lot of PHP, Thesis will give a ton of functionality without having to alter any code. For the advanced, Thesis has incredible customization possibilities via Thesis hooks.

With so many design options, you can use the template over and over and never have it look like the same site. The theme is robust and flexible enough not only to accommodate a site like ChrisBrogan.com, but also to enable the site to run far more efficiently than it ever has before.

  • nice clip Chris ...

thanks once again for continually puttin' it out there + always sharing your critical thinking in the tech space + beyond

very interesting comments about 'the book' ... i think the book is perhaps the very first technological tool that extends thought to a realm outside of the human mind ... the book as we know it is more than a bunch of ink on paper glued together w/ a nice cover ( of course ) and i enjoy and appreciate the way you discuss the notion of a book as conversation ... a much more dynamic definition than i think we normally give the book

so, once we go beyond the ink, the paper, the pretty cover ... once we get beyond the book 1.0 ... i think we're all wondering what format, what materials will the book 2.0 be? any thoughts there?
  • Can't wait 'til your book comes out. I'm on the waiting list ...
  • Good to see ya'll at the 140 Conference. I ordered my book from Amazon.
    Keep typing!
  • "The Participatory Web" ...

Speaking of video participation, we have a big community project in motion here in Vermont.

The goal is to round up all the 'Trust Agents' locally to create a Web Video Resume for every single unemployed Vermonter who wants one.

Thanks for creating a space for the Web community to share. Anyone who wants to check out the project can do so here:

  • That video was a finely distilled spirit of the grapes I have been eating from the Chris Brogan vine for two years plus years. Dean
  • "no one cares about you or your stupid product" I think they care about high quality ones that really improve their lives in some way (which 99% of products aren't, but anyway.

Good post. Give, give, give, retweet, retweet, retweet :).
  • I care about smart products. And smart people. The email from Alaska airlines tonight telling me I've been upgraded to first from Newark to Seattle: smart.
  • "no one cares about you or your stupid product" that's true. they care about themselves first, then they might care about you if you prove you can help solve their problem.
  • much in the same way that one should engage an audience early in a presentation by indicating how it connects to their world(s).
