Wanted- Your Podcasting Workflow

The Stage I’ve got it in my head that we should get together and put together what we know about HOW we do what we do. There are tons of questions about getting started that come up at every PodCamp. I’m all for providing the information, but I want to capture it, to build on it, and to get people working on it more.

A few weeks back, I announced a Shared Tools and Common Knowledge page for the PodCamp site. If you look at it, there’s lots there. And I want you to add more to it. The password to edit the page is nepod . If you scroll down to the bottom, you’ll see I’ve added a workflow area, and I put up a simple description of how I videoblog, which tools I use, and in what order.

Your help is requested

If you help me fill this section up in a similar format, you’ll be helping the greater community of social media / personal media, and you’ll be giving future users a great how-to on using these kinds of tools.

Stop by the page, scroll to the bottom, and take a short moment to explain how you do your podcast. Do you use Castblaster? I have NO IDEA how to use it. Do you want to write something huge and detailed? Cool! Create a new page and link from that one.

Stop by and offer your skills and knowledge. It will be time well spent.

This is an interesting question, because it touches on a sensitive area of mine- I feel like I do things not in the most efficient manner possible, but a workable manner. I would love to have someone critique my work flow, but I’m not sure I want to give the “workflow for dummies” ie. my idiosyncratic work flow, to everyone to emulate.

Ideas on how to receive “constructive critique” first and then post it? _ sounds like I need to post my flow on my blog and and ask for help, first from the podcasting ninjas.
