Chris, if you are at ShowStoppers on Thursday night you should definitely visit us at the start-up pavilion (Zyxio). We introduce SensaWaft, the only breath-powered interaction solution for a touchless control of digital devices (phones, PC, consoles, GPS…)…come by and you'll see mind blowing action :)

Please visit the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) in Booth 3426 in the Kids@ Play Tech Zone. ASHA's Listen to Your Buds campaign educates parents, teachers and kids about safe listening to iPods, etc. I work for ASHA (sadly won't be at CES) and am proud to be associated with such a cool, important campaign–and your kids will think the Buds are adorable–seriously!

Here's more about the campaign and booth on the CES blog:

You can visit my other favorite blogger – Guy Kawasaki (author of “Art of the Start” – in the Amex booth. He's also giving a presentation on The Art of Innovation on Thursday and How to Kick Butt with Twitter on Friday. He's how I heard about you by the way.

Take a gander at the Mphase booth. The battery in their new flashlight is revolutionary and will do the same for back-up power for so many applications. Think new power grid for one.

I'm definitely trying to figure out the same conundrum. It looks to be quite a ball of wax. I'm definitely going to check out as much of the floor as possible until my head explodes- then Mr. Scoble's party, and waiting to see what tech serendipity Vegas offers. My first CES trip, and I decided to roll with the non-planning style for this round. Very curious to see what new miracles are unveiled..

Chris, you should stop by and see the team from This Week in Tech. They've put together some amazing stuff to pull off doing live coverage from the show floor for their privately owned little web network… They're really amazing people who love what they do and care about their audience.

Chris, if you are open on Friday I'll be walking the show floor with Jeremy Toeman. His companies have won several “best of CES” awards. You're welcome to join us. Call me if you are bored: +1-425-205-1921

I went to CES last year and did the “I am so overwhelmed – where should I go”.. That helped me prepare for this year (I actually have a google doc with meetings, contacts etc). No one can see everything so my suggestion is to concentrate on your “top” interest area and make sure you go to press meetings and booth tours for that area. Then cover the next level of priorities other areas. I am really excited to see the new features for all the consumer technology.. Of course, I hope everyone comes to MommyTECH at CES summit! http://ces2010.mommytechsummit.com/

Apple isn't unveiling the only tablet this month. Microsoft & HP will have one at CES. I'm sure there will be more. Check out the tablets and ask this question, “Will this change how I use computers?” Of course ask the same question on Jan. 27.

Chris, check out HomeGrid Forum. The wired home networking standard and G.hn. See you there – I hope. Will be circling with Mr. Pulver.

    Chris –

Without a doubt check out the Broadband for America booth at CES (you can even have you picture taked with Elvis and Marilyn Monroe). Broadband for America is a coalition representing over 100 companies and organizations dedicated to expanding the discussion of broadband throughout the nation. Very cool stuff and ideas indeed.

    Check the web site: http://www.broadbandforamerica.com

Have fun Chris. Jeff from Kodak will be there.

There's so much to see just enjoy it and pace yourself. Where good shoes or your feet will be in alot of pain. I know from experience. :(

Check out anything from Boxee and Sling, I'm hoping their new stuff will spell the end of crappy cable and allow us to stream what we want, when we want into our living rooms

My only guess is that CES is right after macworld. That would be two shows where they need new information or Risk saying the same thing twice.. it would take away the “wow” factor. This way they can get their computers and products in front of non-mac users and hopefully increase the number of macs or apple products they sell, and gain an influence on the real computer market. its a good move in my opinion, could take a while to fully implement but once they do we could very well see an apple Rep (Jobs) doing the keynote. Not that i'm a fanboy or anything i can just see the logic in it.
