Why to Use RSS Readers and HOW
These guys have done a great job of explaining in plain english how to use RSS and an RSS reader to consume your news and blogs. I don’t have much to add, but I wanted to point out this great video, created by Common Craft.

That was a very helpful presentation…just one thing: what if the time you spend on the internet looking for new stuff on your favourtie blogs is actually what you like most?? I mean the second before the site pops up..you’re thinking: oh my god, i hope they updated it….that’s what makes it so much fun…or does that not make any sense ;-)
It’s fun to receive a “prize” like that, but if you’ve got limited time and several blogs and news sources to consider, it’s a little rough stopping by a site repeatedly hoping for something new. Instead, a service can come and let you know there’s a new post, and/or deliver it to your doorstep. I guess that’s the difference.
But you can do it your way, too. : )

Great find man. I’m going to have to repost this one. It took me forever to find the value in the feeds and now I’m addicted.
Netflix Vs. going to the video store is EXACTLY the analogy I need… or is it metaphor… I forget which is which.
Believe it or not, I have not yet used a reader.
I will now.
Yay Common Craft, Chis Brogan (and Clintus - just because…)
