There are two things that hold people back from the goals they seek to accomplish. (Okay, there are 300 things, but here’s two.)
Seeking Permission
Get OUT of the habit of seeking permission. Permission to live. Permission to make a move. People who fall into this mode of saying, “But they won’t let me.”
Whenever you let someone else have power over your choices, you’re giving up opportunities and choices.
Wishing
Get OUT of the habit of wishing for things. Get into the habit of asking “How can I get from here to there?” Wishing is nice to feel good, but it’s as useful as monkeys in a knife fight.
The difference between someone and “someone” is execution.
