Yellow Highlighter- Jon Swanson
My friend, Jon Swanson, is my window into all things spiritual. (I seem to have some other spiritual friends too, in Rob and Michael and Paul.)
On top of his real world life, Jon keeps a great blog here that is all about thoughts of Community 2.0 and the way you can use new media tools to build community. It is *truly* exciting to see his work in video, especially when he went down to Gulfport to help out people with the Hurricane. There are just lots of neat things to see on his site.
Anyhow, Jon is this amazing gent, who knows just what to say, and says things in such a way that I always come away feeling like I’ve had a nice meal, a nap, and an invigorating walk through nature. You know that feeling? He’s someone who gives you air, and water, and a sense that you are going to be alright. It’s not just that he’s a pastor. It’s that he’s thoughtful, and listens, and gives you attention. He is loving, friendly, and reaches out like no one’s business.
