Have You Been Laid Off

Am I the only one that finds this depressing? It's inspiring yes, but it also points out how bad my own situation is. If I was laid off I would immediately have to start selling my possessions and figuring out a way to get to my parents' home on the other side of the country. The trailer makes it seem like everyone featured is in a mid- to upper-level position. It will be great if some of the success stories are from people who were living hand to mouth before the lay-off.

I love what I am doing now as an educator and trainer to people who are grappling on how to use the social web for professional or business reasons.

Saying good-bye to my employer of 28 years, only to find out how dated I was with respect to the knowledge and use of the internet was revealing.

Thanks to the mentors, like you Chris who have taught me along the way.

This is awesome. They are describing me, except I got fired. I've been recreating my life for the past 6 months. I have read the information which is for the New change for the world.I like the post's information and video which clarify each and every situation very much.Part of it is imaging that you can have a new and different life and their different powers.I want to know suggestion from others.It takes a life changing moment to rip us from the status-quo that we allow ourselves to get trapped in and start thinking for ourselves again.

My employer said I would be laid off after the season was over, now he says he can’t because there is still work. I need my unemployment benefits. Is “lay off” only for lack of work? Or can they lay me off since I full filled my agreement to stay there season?

I got inspiration from watching this video! I’m changing my career track from being a paralegal to teaching, which should have been my life’s work in the first place. I’m going back to school this spring to get a teaching credential. I’d like to do something that makes a lasting impact in a young person’s life.
