Website Tips

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Mr Derek Halpern of Social Triggers, to talk about some of his insights into how websites and blogs can convert better. Derek helps people improve their lead generation and conversion and he helps them by pointing out some really simple (at least most of them are) tips that can help you get much further along in your success with your own websites and blogs. The main point I took out of this was changing the commitment path. It seems that the softer email capture is working better these days.

Great video. Very informative. I must be watching this after all of the tips were implemented at ktc. It would be a much better video that will stand the test of time if you have a link to a before and after image of your home page. I have no idea what the exact changes were bc I can’t see the original site home page.

Hey Chris and Derek, super awesome video guys.

I had to check out KTC on the wayback machine in order to get an idea of what the site looked like in the past.

Even though it looked great Derek was right, you didn’t know what the site was about.

So wow, I’m really blown away what these tweaks can actually do for our conversions and our visitors.

Need to do a LOT of stuff on my sites to follow these guidelines.
